QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prefer 15-30 hours of college credit OR pass the district paraprofessional exams
• Prefer valid educational aide certification

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Must be fluent (verbal and writing skills) in the Spanish and English languages
• Ability to work well with children
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use personal computer

Experience: Three years experience as classroom aide or hours of college credit with emphasis in child growth and development preferred

SALARY / WORK DAYS: Hourly pay range starts at $12.30 - $18.54; will work 7.5 hours daily, 187 days
